Start with the decision
Start with a decision: which workshop to host, which community to understand, or which member challenge to investigate. Then identify the evidence that can help.
Read the community before naming the opportunity
Population, household income, and workforce participation describe community conditions. They can structure a conversation about service access or workforce needs. They do not, by themselves, prove demand for a business or establish market size.
Bring members into the interpretation
Pair the profile with a member conversation. Ask what creates repeated work, who is affected, what existing options are available, and which information is still missing. Record their experience as participation, rather than a representative community survey.
Leave with one useful next step
A strong first output can be a one-page briefing: the decision, the geographic area, three relevant observations, their source periods, and a proposed action. That is a useful foundation for a chamber program.
