Sources & methodology
Know what is behind the insight.
Clear geography, visible sources, and measured claims are the foundation of the Texas launch.
Texas community profiles
The lookup covers 2,433 operational Texas postal ZIP codes. Of these, 1,985 have an eligible direct match to a Census ZIP Code Tabulation Area through the NDS governed ZIP–ZCTA bridge. Median household income is available for 1,746 ZIPs; availability of other measures varies.
Population and income use the existing 2024 ACS values retained in the governed ZIP master and bridge. Households come from ACS table B11001. Labor force participation and unemployment come from subject table S2301. Working from home comes from S0801. Additional tables join through eligible ZCTA keys; matching digits alone are not the join rule.
Time, uncertainty, and unavailable values
Local figures are 2020–2024 American Community Survey five-year estimates. They are not current headcounts. Published 90% margins of error accompany the four supplied household and workforce measures. Population and income margins of error were not supplied in this snapshot. Rate margins of error are percentage points.
Missing values stay unavailable; a real zero stays zero. Census median household income at the upper reporting limit is shown as $250,000+. Postal ZIPs without an eligible Census match remain in the lookup with an availability explanation.
Locality labels and boundaries
Postal locality and source county names are lookup labels. They do not establish city, county, or metro boundaries. The explorer does not automatically assign a ZIP to a metropolitan statistical area. Inquiry respondents identify their own metro or region.
AI survey context
The regional panel uses the saved October 8, 2026 Census Business Trends and Outlook Survey edition. Current-use reference dates are September 7–20, 2026; responses were collected September 21–October 4. Expected use refers to the following six months. Standard errors are shown as standard errors, not ACS 90% margins of error.
BTOS describes its target nonfarm employer-business population, excluding farms and public administration. Texas and U.S. estimates are regional context. They are not ZIP-level AI rates and do not represent every business or nonprofit. Expected use is an intention rather than realized growth.
No composite ranking
This site publishes source measures. It does not calculate an AWORD composite score, local AI-adoption estimate, opportunity ranking, or prediction of business success.
